AP Network is committed to protecting your privacy and any information you may disclose by accessing our website and/or forums.  We will never disclose your personal information without your written or verbal consent.

Use of your personal information
When registering at our forums, all prospective members are required to provide a valid e-mail address.  This e-mail address allows us to communicate with you in the event of an unforeseen server crash, as well as send out regular installments of the AP Community Newsletter, which you are automatically subscribed to as a registered member of our forums.  Every newsletter we send includes an opt-out clause for subscribers, who may exercise that right at any time by following the instructions included at the bottom of each these mailings.

If you find that you are still receiving mass mailngs from us after successfully unsubscribing, please contact us via e-mail for further action.

Please also note that we will never ask you to provide personal identifiable info (i.e. SSN#, banking account info, etc...) via e-mail.  If you ever receive a correspondence of this nature, rest assure that it is spam and should be deleted immediately.

Use of cookies on forums
In order to keep track of your session, the AP forums uses cookies to temporary store your user and password login.  A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your hard drive to keep track of your information.

If you feel uncomfortable having cookies stored on your hard drive, be advised that you have an option to allow/reject the storing of cookies.  There are also several programs that can clean up stored cookies after you have completed your browsing session.  Nevertheless, you should be aware that cookies in no way contribute to the transfer of viruses or other unwanted programs.

If any changes should be made to our policy, the "last updated" date will be modified.

Q.  How do I become a member?
A.  First and foremost, you should be a registered member of our forums, the communication gateway between us and our supporters.  To formally apply, simply download and complete the Application for Membership.  If you are unable to access the afforementioned form, please contact us for further assistance.

Q.  What are the benefits of becoming a member?
A.  You get to network with a group of individuals who share your passion for the written art form.  In addition, our forums provide a great sounding board whenever you are in creative crisis, or looking for suggestions on a new project.  You also receive plenty of marketing opportunities with our quarterly magazine, a link on our series roster page, the option to advertise promos on our homepage, your very own designated forum, and optional e-mail account.  So yes, there are plenty of fringe benefits.

Q.  How do I retain membership?
A.  This is spelled out clearly in the AP Membership Contact (PDF), but in the simplest of terms, as long as you remain active in the community that adopted you and gave you a home, in addition to, meeting all required deadlines, you will never have to worry about the security of your membership slot.

Q.  Am I allowed to have more than one series on AP Network?
A.  Currently, there are no stipulations stating that a producer can not have more than one series on our network as long as you're committed to both.

Q.  How is membership on the AP network determined?
A.  As outlined in the AP Membership Contract (PDF), membership approval is based on your work ethic and community involvment.  AP Network thrives for an institution built on service and commitment.

Q.  Can I refer people once a member?
A.  Sure.  If you know someone that would be interested in joining our team, direct them to our forums.

Q.  Does AP do publicity ads for all the featured shows?
A.  Once upon a time, AP did create episode promo banners that were posted on our site's homepage, as well as throughout the remainder of the site.  However, that became very cost-intensive overtime, and so we do very little of it outside of our quarterly magazine issues.

Q.  Why am I not listed in the affiliates section?
A.  Have you linked to us?  If so, send us an e-mail and we will be happy to remedy the situation.

Q.  Can non-featured series submit content for OSW Magazine?
A.  Yes, we do allow non-featured series to contribute content for our magazine.  We just ask that interest parties communicate with us in advance so that we are able to make the appropriate accomodations.
